I encourage you to team up for this session. Have one person call up the wiki and read the instructions out loud, while the other carries out instructions on a tablet. You can switch roles as often as you like.

Practice using your pen to write yourself a note.
You can use Microsoft® Sticky Notes the same way that you use a paper sticky note—to retain names, phone numbers, simple maps with directions, and other information that you need to write quickly and keep easily available. You can also use a microphone to record information. A sticky note can contain both writing and recording.

When you use speech recognition for the first time, you are prompted to set up your microphone and “train” the computer to recognize your voice.
Test the "text to speech" feature by opening any Word document. Highlight the text, then choose "Speak" on the Language Bar. Windows5. Windows Journal

Note the title bar. Call your entry Workshop Notes. Choose the lasson icon and select your title. Under the Actions Menu, choose Convert Handwriting to Text.

Go to "Teacher Shortcuts," then open "Neil's Training Wikis." Inside you will find a screenshot of the tablet wiki. Open that image on your tablet, then choose "Snipping Tool" from the task bar. From the scissors icon, choose "Free Form Snipping." Draw a circle around the image.
Notice that the "Pen" icon in Snipping Tool is now highlighted. Take your pen and write "Cool!" near the image.
